Anchor Study

Help fight HPV and anal cancer and get paid!!!!

ANCHOR is an anal cancer screening study recruiting nationally. The study aims to answer whether treating high-grade anal dysplasia will prevent anal cancer in those at high risk. People 35+ years old, living with HIV, with no history of anal or genital cancer are eligible to screen. In Seattle they are recruiting at 3 consortium sites – VMMC, The Polyclinic, and Harborview Madison clinic.

More info can be found here: www.anchorstudy.org. The study pays out of pocket costs after insurance, as well as a $100 stipend for any visit with high resolution anoscopy (typically performed at screening and then twice per year for those who enroll).
