Getting In Touch With Us: Contacting QueerDoc (Aug. 2026)

Who Ya Gonna Call Message?

Are you not sure how to reach us or who to contact within QueerDoc when you have a question? Never fear, here’s a handy guide on the best ways to contact us:

For Current QueerDoc Patients

Which Technology To Use:

If you can, message us from within your patient portal account. Why? Because it is the most secure form of non-video appointment communications we can provide.* But it’s not just about security. The portal is where the QueerDoc team spends the majority of our working time, and our work flows are centered in the portal. Portal messages are integrated into your chart and keep your data and medical history together in one place. Communications originating outside of the portal may not be integrated into your chart or protected as a part of your medical record, and it may cause more delays when you call or send an email or voicemail.

*We’re serious about data security. Messaging in the portal is preferred because each sign-in link on the patient side is one-time use only. On our side, we typically have 2-step verification enabled.

You can access your portal via the navigation menu or our standalone link:

How Long Is Our Response Time?

We typically respond within 5-7 business days: that can mean 1-2 weeks. If your team member has circumstances making replies slower than usual or is out of office an “Away” message within your portal messaging tab will let you know their expected response date and alternative contact options.

If you can’t send us a portal message, consider leaving us a voice mail at 541-604-8276 or emailing us at info@queerdoc.com. Please be aware that these are less secure options than portal messaging. If you leave a voice mail or email, please include the name that we know you as in your portal account. It’s hard for us to locate your account if we only have your phone number or email!

Voice mails and email are reviewed within 5-7 business days, but if they must be forwarded to your provider, that can add additional delays. We may reply by portal message or text message. We and our patients are across multiple time zones, so we try to minimize possible non-business hours disruptions.

Who Should I Reach Out To?

Message your provider if:

  • You have a medical question. We do not have after hours or emergency services.
    • If you are having a medical emergency, even related to your transgender medicine, please see an in-person provider immediately or call 911. Non-emergency medical questions about your gender care can be messaged to your provider.
  • You need a refill or have a question about a prescription. Our clinic policy indicates we try to manage refills during appointments. We certainly don’t want you to run out of meds, so please check with your provider, but most providers strive to make sure you have enough medication to get you to your next appointment. Managing most refills in appointments allows us to server more community members and help us to maintain healthiery work-life balances.
  • You need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and you are within the 72-hour cancellation window.
    • If there are more than 72 hours before your appointment, you can cancel it yourself within in your patient portal “Appointment” section.!
  • You have a billing question.

Message Nora if:

  • You need to update your name, email, address, or other account information.
    • You can now update your credit card from within your portal!
  • Something isn’t working right on the website or in your portal.
  • You would like to temporarily (or longer-term!) deactivate your portal account.
  • Nora can send you copies of QueerDoc invoices or superbills, but cannot change any charges or invoices.
  • You have a question about which appointment to schedule or are in the onboarding process.
  • You are working with Nora on a prior authorization or other items.
  • Nora can’t answer questions about symptoms, dosing, or other medical matters.

Call 911 if you’re having a medical emergency.

For Former QueerDoc Patients

Are you unable to log in to your patient portal? Please message info@queerdoc.com with a request to unlock your portal or if you have questions about restarting care or your previous care. Please include the name that we have in our files, your birthdate, and, if you’re using a different email, the one linked to your portal account. We’ll need to verify your identity before unlocking your portal account.

Are You Thinking About Becoming a QueerDoc Patient?

For most questions about getting care at QueerDoc, please schedule a free 15-minute orientation session (or a 25- minute youth orientation session) via the “Request Appointment” button at the top of this page. These sessions are meant to be a no-pressure space to learn more about how QueerDoc works and to help you decide if we are a good fit for your care. We cannot provide medical advice during orientation sessions and they are typically with an administrative team member. These sessions are informational only, are not medical visits, and do not establish a patient relationship.

Do You Have Other Questions About QueerDoc?
