Out2Enroll researches and writes state-specific summaries of silver marketplace ACA plans. Wow! We love it. Check out their gender affirming care summaries by state. If you’re looking for health insurance, you still have time to enroll in ACA (marketplace) plans – open enrollment ends Jan 15th!

Navigators
If you’ve found an ACA plan through your state marketplace, a navigator can help, and they’re free!
Specialized Navigators – Keep it in the community!
Your local LGBTQ+ community programs may have navigators who get it.
In Seattle, Gay City has a navigation program.
Out2Enroll has a national database of trained navigators.
Finally, Getting Care Once You’re Enrolled:
TransFamily Support Services are fantastic. They can help explain insurance issues and, if you’ve been denied coverage for a procedure, are highly skilled in successful appeals.

We can also help! We provide care navigator services for our existing patients on a sliding-scale basis ($25 – $75.) We’ll contact your insurance company on your behalf to get clarity on your coverage, authorization requirements, and expected costs.
