- Transequality– a national transgender federal policy organization has excellent web resources under the “Know Your Rights” tab
- Transgender Law Center– a national trans led organization for advocating self-determination for all people also has a version of a legal help desk
- Alaska Medical Legal Partnership– helps people in vulnerable populations understand and secure their legal rights regarding safe housing, adequate schooling, medical needs and more partnering with lawyers, doctors, social workers, and other medical staff to remove barriers to good health
