QueerDoc knows that school based sexual health education programs often leave a lot to be desired for queer and trans youth. We want to help fix that! We will be offering FREE virtual events led by Lotus Lloyd (he/him). Lotus participated in Planned Parenthood Michigan’s Peer Education program wherein high school students are trained for 40 hours over the course of a year in order to provide free Sex-Ed, contraception, and resources to their peers. He has continued to create sexual health education content and will be running this course as part of his grant funded course work. There will be a few different events to allow for age appropriate education:
- an event for 9-13 year olds
- an event for 14-17 year olds
- an event for 18-22 year olds
