Hello lovely folx!
We hope you’ve been keeping up with us the past several weeks as we’ve written about:
- about specific surgeries and procedures common in gender affirming care
- the fast-changing legislative landscapes for gender affirming care in the states we practice in
- Proposed changes to telehealth regulations at the DEA, and
- Ways for you to let your state legislators and the DEA know what you think about the threats to gender affirming care, especially for youth.
We’re feeling the impact of all this energy. We’re not just the health care clinicians and support staff of QueerDoc, we’re queer and trans ourselves.
Because this is a marathon and not a sprint, we’re going to take a couple of weeks off from blogging to
practice some self-love and resiliency-refilling.
We’ll be back on April 10th!
In the meanwhile, head over to our socials for an exciting announcement about opening our doors in Montana, and enjoy our virtual Open House with QueerDoc founder, Dr. Crystal Beal on March 24th at 3pm MT.
Our clinicians are excited to bring safe, accessible queer and gender affirming healthcare (by queer and trans doctors) to folx in Montana. All appointments are virtual, sliding scale, and can be made by anyone who is physically located in one of our practicing states at the time of the appointment.
